Please give us a call should you think you would be late for any reason. Your appointment might/might not be cut short depending on how late you are and if there is another client booked in after you. Regardless of how much time the physiotherapist is able to spend with your treatment, you will be charged fees for the full appointment.
Physio Friend has an 8 hour cancellation policy. Should you cancel or miss your appointment within 8 business hours of your allocated time slot, you will be charged the full fees for that appointment.
Loose clothing allowing easy access to the area of complain would be much preferred.
Yes. Please provide Physio Friend with your claim number and claims manager’s contact details. Treatment would only be provided once the number of sessions approved is established. Should treatment be needed urgently, customers are required to pay for their sessions first, then apply for reimbursement with ReturnToWorkSA/Allianz at a later stage. If any of the claims are rejected regardless of reason, clients will be held fully responsible for all payments at full price.
Yes. Only clients with a valid Doctor’s Chronic Disease Management (CDM) plan (Formally known as Enhance Primary Care Plan) would be allowed treatment under the Medicare scheme. Note: Customers would need to provide Physio Friend a copy of the CDM referral on the first session before treatment can proceed.
Yes, our practice is equipped with a HICAPS terminal that will allow on the spot processing of claims to most major health funds (Please refer to http://www.hicaps.com.au for more information). Please note that the amount of gap you will have to pay would be dependent on the level of coverage you have with your health fund.
Note: Customers would need to present health fund card upon payment at the reception for service to be valid. Likewise, an invoice could be issued for self-claiming over your private health provider’s website or office.
Initial consultation is 40 minutes while standard subsequent consultations are 20 minutes. Longer therapy sessions may be needed depending on the severity and complexity of your condition.
No. You can visit a physiotherapist for muscle aches, joint pain or sports injury. It is recommended that you visit a physiotherapist as soon as possible to ensure an optimum recovery timeframe. Depending on your condition, your doctor can also refer you to a physiotherapist to get the most appropriate treatment.
